Alex Lambert Not Homeless

A former ‘American Idol’ alum recently announced that the claims about him being homeless and sleeping on the street were, indeed, real and that he wasn’t making things up for a publicity stunt.

Alex Lambert was a contestant on season 9 of the reality show, and was eliminated fairly early on, but given a spot on “If I Can Dream” by Simon Fuller.

However, the singer recently took to Twitter to tell his fans the truth about his situation, saying, “Alright so I didn’t want to bring my person life to my fans but I’m about to freak out if I don’t tell yall the truth! Ever since IICD ended I’ve been kinda homeless! Sleepin on the street and behind buildings.I have a choice to stay and persue my career or go back to texas and not do music! I’m usually a strong person but I can’t take it anymore.”

However, a rep for Lambert recently said that the claims were false, saying, “He’s not homeless. I don’t know where that came from. He’s on a retainer, and he’s getting money every month. He’s working on demos. He’s with writers, he’s working on music.”
