Billy Ray Cyrus On Tish And Miley

Billy Ray Cyrus recently gave a very emotional interview to GQ magazine, detailing his feelings about his daughter and his acting career with her.

The 49-year-old country singer went on in length about the divorce from his wife, his daughter’s own problems, and the future. In the interview he said that he was really scared for his daughter who told him that she felt helpless.

Miley’s father said that he wished he could get his daughter out of danger and do something about her various emotional problems which she has been struggling with for quite some time now.

The country super star said that he feels like he has received a little bit too much of the blame for the crazy antics which Miley has been associated with recently. He stated:

“I hate to say it, but yes, I do. Yeah. I’d take it back in a second. For my family to be here and just be everybody OK, safe and sound and happy and normal, would have been fantastic. Heck, yeah. I’d erase it all in a second if I could.”

He said that he was willing to take a majority of the blame because he felt a strong duty and responsibility to his daughter, but that it has become too much of a burden for him to handle.

Billy Ray said that the last straw was when Miley was recorded taking a hit of what turned out to be salvia from a bong on her 18th birthday. In his interview Billy Ray went on about celebrities who had died much too early such as Kurt Cobain and Michael Jackson as well as Anna Nicole Smith.
