Brad Womack: The Bachelor Criminal Past

Brad Womack starred in the eleventh season of the Bachelor in which he eliminated Jenni Croft. Croft is a cheerleader for the Phoenix Suns. Usually, the picks for the Bachelor are known for their squeaky clean images and safe backgrounds. This, however, is not the case for Womack.

Season eleven of the Bachelor aired in Fall of 2007. Womack had a criminal record dating back to 1993 when he was arrested for possession of a counterfeit driver’s license. At the time, he went by Bradley Stephen Pickelsimer. Womack was charged with a felony. He spent 180 days on probation and had to pay a $200 fine.

Womack is now 38 years old. He was also busted for public intoxication. In addition, Star magazine reports he was also charged with passing a bad check. Womack didn’t necessarily gain a better reputation on the show either.

Womack hails from Texas, where he still has to check in with the state’s Department of Public Safety. The Department of Public Safety keeps track of convicted criminals. The media still follows the “most hated Bachelor ever” and captured a photo of his most recent mug shot in November 2009.
