CMA Awards 2010 Coming – On Wednesday The CMA Awards 2010 will to air on ABC at 8 pm Eastern/7:00 pm Central.
One of the co-host of the event Brad Paisley (the other one being Carrie Underwood) appeared on the Late Show With David Letterman this evening to talk about the upcoming event.

Paisley who will be hosting the show for the third time is up for several awards but all eyes will be on Miranda Lambert who has not one, not two but nine nominations, including Female Vocalist of the Year.

The 44th Annual CMA Awards will be full of surprises thanks to a performance by Gwyneth Paltrow.
Yes, you heard correctly the Oscar-winning actress will be performing the theme song of her new movie ‘Strong Country,” with Vince Gill.

The film will open in Los Angeles and Nashville on December 22nd and will hit theaters in the the rest of country on January 7th . The soundtrack goes on sale Oct. 26.

Other artists that will be taking the stage at the CMA include Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. Zac Brown Band and Alan Jackson will be performing together, and Miranda Lambert and Sheryl Crow are set to sing a duet in honor of Loretta Lynn who is celebrating 50 years in the music industry.
