Erin Andrews Peephole Video Stalker Sentence

Erin Andrews Peephole Video – Erin Andrews is a popular anchor for ESPN who was the victim of a crime last year. Andrews was videotaped through a peephole in the wall as she undressed by an individual who was stalking her for the better part of a year. The video quickly spread across the Internet after it initially leaked, bringing in more than a million views less than 24 hours after it was first uploaded to numerous popular video websites. The individual, Michael David Barret, who worked as an insurance executive was charged with secretly shooting video of Erin Andrews while she undressed received a prison sentence of 2 and a half years on Monday.
“You violated me and you violated all women,” Andrews said to Barret before leaving the courthouse. Andrews was visibly displeased throughout the course of the court proceedings and did not hold back her anger and emotion when she was allowed to speak directly to Barret. Barret had plead innocent to the charges after a tape leaked where Erin Andrews first called 911 claiming that someone had video taped her undressing through a hole in her hotel room.
It has been an interesting year for many ESPN anchors. Several of them have been a part of various scandals that have been the cover stories of various tabloids and nationally distributed magazines. Most recently Tony Kornheiser was suspended after making inappropriate comments about fellow ESPN anchor Hannah Storm and the clothes that she chose to wear on that particular day. Steve Phillips, a former ESPN anchor, also had his fair share of problems this year after being blackmailed by a coworker with the intimate details of their relationship. The individual had threatened to tell Phillip’s wife, and the story had leaked to the media. Phillip’s was originally suspended, but then was fired several days later.
