Flurge Meaning: SNL Hit

Flurge meaning is making headlines once more. This evening the peacock network aired their pre-mid-term special called “Saturday Night Live” where current and former SNL actresses came back to count down the most hilarious moments that were ever broadcast on the satirical series.

NBC had the brilliant idea of reuniting comediennes such as Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig, Rachel Dratch, Molly Shannon, Cheri Oteri, Ana Gasteyer, and Tina Fey for an installment full of laughter, spoofs and terribly looking wigs and floral dresses.

One of the most hilarious moments took place back in 2008 during the presidential election which turned Sarah Palin into a rock star.

During the side-splitting sketch Tina Fey’s Sarah Palin and Amy Poehler’s Hillary Clinton used the word “flerge” or “flerg.” which stands for “First Lady I’d Rather Get Elected.”

Amy Poehler’s Hillary Clinton said:

And don’t refer to me as a [flurge]. I Googled what it stands for and I do not like it.”
