Hannah Montana Finale Record Ratings

It looks like Miley Cyrus has finally decided to say goodbye to the thing that catapulted her to fame in the beginning—her television show ‘Hannah Montana’.

The series recently ended, and the finale episode saw its best audience ratings yet, with over 6 million viewers tuning in to find out what happened to the main character.

The last episode aired on Sunday, January 16, and the number of viewers was the highest the series had ever seen, coming in with 9 percent more people than the fourth-season average.

A total of 6.2 million people tuned in for the finale of the show, which made it the most watched telecast on cable during the 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. hour for kids aged 6 to 11 and tweens aged 9 to 14.

It was also Disney Channel’s biggest audience ever in that hour for total viewers, as well as kids aged 6-11 years old. Because of the finale, the last season of the show averaged roughly 5.65 million viewers, which was the best number that the season had ever seen.

Cyrus has recently decided to pursue work elsewhere. She will be releasing a new album later this year, and is currently shooting a new movie called “So Undercover”.
