Joan Rivers Fox News Drama

Actress and comedian Joan Rivers was recently scheduled to make an appearance on a morning television talk show in order to promote her new reality TV show that she is working on with her daughter Melissa.

However, the actress has now claimed that her appearance was canceled after she made some rude comments about former vice presidential candidate, Sarah Palin.

Rivers was originally booked to appear on the show “Fox & Friends” on Fox News on Thursday, January 20. However, Rivers claimed that after she made rude comments about Palin, including saying that she was “stupid and a threat”, she received a phone call telling her that her appearance on the show had been dropped.

Rivers then took to her Twitter page to announce the news, saying, “Outcome: Don’t p**s off Sarah Palin. She’s apparently ‘very powerful,’ and is obviously still smarting from the end of her reality show.

I was canceled from Fox for saying Palin is ‘stupid and a threat’. Wait till I REALLY shock them with Aretha Franklin is a bit chubby!”

However, a spokesperson for Fox recently said that the cancellation was due to a scheduling mix-up and Rivers is currently trying to be re-booked for the show.
