Kathleen Parker Leaves CNN

Disgraced former Governor Elliot Spitzer seems to keep having problems with women as his co-host Kathleen Parker has decided to split from Spitzer on their CNN news show.

Ken Jautz, CNN Executive Vice President informed his staff that Parker had decided to “focus on her writing, and we have decided to take the show in a new direction.”

The show will continue however with a new format, an ensemble format with other guests joining Spitzer to contribute to the show. The show’s new name will be “In The Arena”.
E.D. Hill, the former Fox News anchor and Will Cain will be on the show as well as others who join Spitzer in the new format.

Parker said in a statement, “While I am extremely proud of the show we created, and the subject matter and level of discourse ‘Parker Spitzer’ promoted every night, it was a difficult decision to scale back my column a few months ago, and with the show going in a new direction, it’s a good time to movie on,”.

Spitzer added his comment by stating, “was a joy working with her as a teammate and I continue to be a huge fan of the wisdom that jumps from her written work and the wit, charm and insight she brings to all that she does.”

The Parker Spitzer show hadn’t gained momentum in the ratings and there were rumors of problems along the way.
