Michelle Obama Big Help Award Nick Kids Awards 2010

Michelle Obama Big Help Award Nick Kids Awards 2010 – It appears that the first lady will be making an appearance at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. There are a number of stars that will also be there to perform, take part and present awards during the presentation. These stars include Robert Downey Jr. Katy Perry, Tina Fey and a host of other celebrities who have starred in recent movies or have had number one hits on the billboard charts. It appears that all of them will be working alongside the first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama. This is not the first time that a President has been involved in the award show, as President Bill Clinton took part in the award show via video over a decade ago. One of the causes that the Kids’ Choice Awards are fighting for is the ability to reduce childhood obesity.
Obama will be receiving the `Big Help’ award at the event.

It was not immediately clear what causes the proceeds would be donated to, but the “Lets Move” campaign has been picking up steam leading up to the awards, and it is estimated that the organization will bring in more dollars on the day of the award show than they had for the previous year.
Obama and Nickelodeon have been working on getting kids active through physical activity including various sports programs since he first took office. Obama himself took part in the NFL’s “play 60” commercial during last seasons NFL playoffs. The commercial featured a speedy Obama running past Troy Polamalu and several kids following close behind them. It was not immediately clear if the first lady, Michelle Obama would be doing anything more on the awards show than giving a quick speech and exiting the stage. Representatives for Michelle Obama have not commented on the situation.
