Mick Jagger Grammy Awards 2011 Performance

The Rolling Stone’s legendary front man, Mick Jagger made history again when he performed for the first time at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

Jagger literally brought the house to it’s feet with his rendition of the song by Solomon Burke, “Everybody Needs Somebody to Love”.

Jagger, now 67 years old got down and funky in true Blues tradition which has made him one of the longest running superstars in music history.

The Rolling Stones did receive a Lifetime Achievement Award before, but they never appeared on stage, only by videotape to accept the award.

This is another first for the Stones and the Grammys and the audience was privy to another music industry history event that will be talked about for decades to come for sure.

This surprise is something that fans of the Grammys always look for, history making performances by artists as it makes the show more interesting and changes the face of the industry.
