Rihanna American Idol Performance 2010

Rihanna American Idol Performance 2010 – In the upcoming American Idol episode, the theme for the contestants will be Lennon-McCartney. Pop star Rihanna will also be performing on the show. Contestants of the show will be allowed to pick any song for either John Lennon or Paul McCartney’s catalogue and perform that song on stage to be judged. Depending on how well they do, they could be sent home empty handed while their fellow contestants continue to vie for the top spot and a record contract. Rihanna will be performing her recent single and hit “Te Amo.” Rihanna first rose to popularity several years ago on Rocafella Records, and has continued to cement her place in the industry in recent years. The young star made headlines two years ago when her long time boyfriend and fella R&B singer, Chris Brown, beat her while driving a car. The incident lead the two to break up, and Rihanna appeared on several different television and radio shows to tell her side of the story. She probably wasn’t aware of it at the time, but the incident that changed her life would be one of the best things, career-wise that has ever happened to her.

Contestants on the show have not announced which songs they will be singing from John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Both entertainers have very large catalogs so the contestants should have no problem finding songs that suit their tastes. Representatives from the estate of John Lenon and Paul McCartney have not commented on the upcoming theme of the episode. This is not the first time that American Idol has used their music, as the television series has had two separate Beatles’ themed episodes in past seasons that allowed contestants to sing anything from the Beatles catalog.
