Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole Leaving UK X-Factor?

Apparently Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole both believe that America holds more promise than Britain—for “The X factor”, that is.

A new report recently came out announcing that both Cowell and Cole, who are judges for the UK version of the reality show, have announced that they will no longer be participating in the series, saying that they feel that they won’t have enough time to devote to their new American venture if they continue with the British version.

Cowell reportedly resigned from “The X Factor”, telling the chief of ITV, Peter Fincham, “I’m committed to the American show and I’m not going to do both.” Cowell has also convinced pop star Cole to travel to the United States with him.

A source close to the situation recently told News of the World that there has been plenty of concern about the judges’ departure. “There will be massive shake-up.

Simon is a huge, huge loss. He gives the judging panel such authority and there are big fears that millions will switch off without him. And two million extra viewers tuned in when Cheryl joined the panel. To lose her as well is a nightmare.”
