Steven Tyler American Idol Apology

In a very surprising move the producers behind FOX’s hit reality show ‘American Idol’ have decided to apologize this evening for rock legend/judge Steven Tyler’s wild yet hilarious behavior.

Not really giving the viewers a clear explanation behind the the apology, the network simply flashed a message across the screen at the beginning of the Austin audition show that read:

“American Idol would like to apologize for last week’s outrageous behavior by Steven Tyler. Mr. Tyler has been warned and assures us it will never happen again.”

As it turned out, the whole thing was a big joke and host Ryan Seacrest who made sure to announce the little stunt on his radio show earlier today was in on the whole masquerade.

The talent show which has been heavily beating on the Aerosmith’s singer outrageous comments to individuals who are oddly dressed or with weird last names and inappropriate remarks to young girls decided to come up with the scheme as a publicity stunt to better promote the hit show.

Surely mean Simon Cowell will not be missed with Mr Potty Mouth around.
