Futurama Season 6 : Rebirth & In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela Review

Futurama Season 6 : Rebirth & In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela Review – Thursday nights on Comedy Central always provide plenty of laughter. Futurama definitely came out with a bang last night with their follow up to the Into the Wild episode. Green Yonder, Fry and the rest of the crew start to learn some interesting details about Leela and Fry. In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela follows Leela and Zapp with their usual quest to save earth from a complete destruction.

It’s comforting to see what the results of entering the worm hole were for the crew. We’ve been sitting on a couple of promotion pictures that were released just a few weeks ago featuring the gang in a near death skeleton form. Everyone has been analyzing the pictures themselves but now we have an explanation to the photo. Leela is sadly in a coma and Fry is trying desperately to build a robot workshop that can save Leela by creating a new version of her.

It was nice to see all of the original characters and their appropriate voices joined together again. It seemed like the characters connected better and formed a stronger relationship for the show. Ultimately, it was a pretty hilarious episode and now even though it’s on really late for most people, it still has a pretty strong fan base. The writers have been creating more risky content and humor and adding twists to areas that they can. An orgy gag and nudity with Zapp and Leela might not be your thing but its welcoming to see the writers successfully accomplish that with the show.

Bender’s character has unfortunately been restricted throughout the series. Perhaps this is the style of character they had in mind for Bender, but even though Comedy Central is less strict now his character hasn’t changed a bit. It would be nice to see some different sides of Bender but regardless Futurama’s last night episode provided plenty of entertainment that everyone can enjoy.

It’s Zapp not Zappa, although both people are awesome.
