Aside from a number of great roles, many, males in particular, remember Kate Winslet for her nude scene in James Cameron’s box office hit Titanic.
PopEater described Winslet’s recent advice to ‘Mildred Pierce’ co-star Evan Rachel Wood.
‘Mildred Pierce’ is the new HBO series in which Winslet takes the title role as Mildred and Wood plays the role of her daughter, who she struggles to connect with. Well, at least the two stars were able to connect by both doing nude scenes.
Its HBO, but inevitable. Yet, Wood’s decision to appear nude is interesting. Enough child or teen stars have transitioned into adult roles, where they often act nude in their films.
We can only speculate as to how high the degree of sexuality is in the series that is set in the Great Depression.
Fortunately for Wood, she had Winslet there to comfort her in her first nude scene. This is also the most prominent role for wood after calling off her engagement with shock rocker Marilyn Manson, who definitely had an influence on how the 23-year-old was perceived by audiences.
If Wood’s image takes a shift, it will be exciting to see what kind of more serious roles open up for the young actress.
